In the last few weeks, we have been taking stringers of large BullHeads, and at least six to ten Channel cats. These Channels have been in the 1 1/2 to 2 pound range. They seem to spawn later than the smaller Bulls......

Zach, If we ever get more than a smattering of rain, say like an inch in a day. Right under Research Forest Dr bridge can be fantastic for cats if the water is up and flowing. A pound of the the cheapest fresh/frozen raw shrimp from any grocery store fished on a carolina rig will catch you all the channel cats you can stand. If you are good with a cast net and can toss out a live bluegill or shad, you'll catch bigger fish. But like I said, we need rain to get 'em feeding in that area.
