I am wanting to go to the coast to do some fishing in the bays and what not when my wife has her spring break from school. Where is a good place to go to get away from the crowds of obnoxiuous college partiers?

I heard South Padre is pretty chill.

U need to go somewhere like Port Mansfield I went there when I was younger. Stay at a place where you can fish at night under the lights get you a guide the fishing is great caught my first 30 inch trout there.
Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.

Port Mansfield is a great option for real! No college kid pressure or anything! Plus, the fishing is really good!

Go to rockport. Fish the Estes flats and other places in that area. Been going there for 20 years, but haven't been in a couple of years so don't know how the fishin is right now. We started renting a house inside Palm Harbor Marina. I think the website for the homes is Cove Harbor Real Estate. Check it out.

If you go to Port O' Connor you def. wont have to worry about partiers! It is strictly a fishin town and there are plenty of good guides out of there and quite a few good places to fish from the bank or even the jetties! And the dock at tweeties has alot of little snappers under it that are a blast to catch! Thats my .02! Have fun..
