I caught these late today, all on tubes. Not one on Jigum Jigs. I first started on Jigums, switched to tubes and thump after thump. I caught 8 and kept 5.

The depth of water was about 20ft. I caught them 12ft in the water. I forgot to mention that on my last post, sorry.

I went out yesterday from 6 to 7:45 and ended up catching around 20 fish total of witch 9 were keepers. I had limited action on blk/chtse but then switched to a red/chtse tube and started getting strikes. The slight change in water clarity helped my fishing I think. But the needle-nose gar did not!

Sorry, they were about 5 to 6 feet deep and I was working the area between hog creek and the middle south bosque split. I would catch a fish area until the gar started rolling around me then I would move down a little and start again. Since I fish in a kayak I can't cover a real big area. Also they weren't hitting very hard. My line would go slack and I knew one had it.

Went out first thing this morning and lasted about an hour. The wind blew me out of the lake and home to do yard work!
