I am wanting to get into making my own rods. I am getting a great deal on a group of GLoomis GLX rods (friend built me GLX popping for Rockport and I love it). These will all be saltwater rods. I know what to get for reel handle and seat, wrapping line and a friend has all the tools needed to build he will let me borrow, what I need is what are some good guides, guide spacing, wrapping techniques and all around general information a rod building. If anyone knows of a HOW TO for baitcast popping rods I would love to know about it. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Keep a tight line!
