I keep busy that is for sure. I am not really retired.

If any of you do make it to the Arlington Tackle/Boat Show, stop by the Arlington Bass Club booth. First time the club has done this and everyone is pretty excited. Would love to meet you.

I will be there Friday and Saturday with the North Texas Lady Anglers we will have a booth out there as it stands right now our booth is 709. Lil I will try to get a chance and swing by to say hi.

Great MsBass, I'll probably be the only female there, will be hard to miss. Don't know our booth number yet. Will visit your booth too.

ill tell you what, im 65, and keep kidding my self about being able to do what i want, when i want, and how i want, luckly i have a good son close and a daughter with great grandkids to talk to, but theres nothing to compare to a good womans touch or her fussing over you during good or bad times.the older i get the more i reilize what i missed by not being a better husban, to bad you cant pass that on to the young ones, i guess everyone has got to make there own mistakes.so ill probley go clean the boat, maybe call a friend and go fishing when where and how i want, but its not as much fun any more not comeing home to someone telling you, your late, you smell bad , how much did you spend, and put those dirty shirts and pants in the hamper, you know i realy miss that, so i guess the moral to my little story is you dont know what you miss untill you lose it, and if she was a fishing partner it would be that much better, how sweet it could be

Hey keeno, If you come to the show this weekend, I'll ask you "How's fishin? Or better yet, "How's catchin?" Will that work?

kelkay and lil minner id love to go and mingle, when i was 45 or so my dad called me and said, son im looking in the mirror and man im getting ulgy , i told him hey dont worry about it were all getting old, hes 98 now, so now im getting older i under stand i hate looking in the mirror, it would be great to go talk to a nice lady, but im ashamed of how i look, i gained weight more lines in the face, i cant change so ill keep hanging around the lakes with old guys like me, if i meet a gal now, she will see me at the lake and walk up to me cleaning fish, and we might strike up a conversaion, it just seems it would be embareasing talking to someone email , letter whatever, then thay meet you face to face and think man that dude is ugley. dont get me wrong, im glad im still kicking and enjoy a lot of life, but in the back of my mind im still thinking who in the world would want to tie up with a old rascal like me, i guess im not growing old gracefully i think its called change of life not cool

I think there is somebody out there for everyone, regardless of looks. Just do what you like to do, and maybe you will find that special someone. If you have the same hobbies, it helps I would imagine.

thanks for good words kelkay, upon reflection when i look at my dad i dont see him as a frail older gent, but the way he used to look when he was younger and strong, so maybe the anser for me is to find a gal that knew me when i was young, you can tell i havent lost my sence of humor
