I believe this is the one I saw a long time ago about the feud between Magic and Larry and the way ended up. Its pretty good when you have the time. One of the best parts was when they went from being hated rivals to friends while shooting a commercial at Larry Birds house.

My younger brother won state in the high jump in 71/72. He was 5’9” His best high school jump was 6’10-3/4” his Junior year. He jumped 7’2” in college at Howard Payne

Larry Bird was not a "leaper" by any stretch of the imagination. He didn't need to be. Larry Bird could tell everyone what he was going to do, and they couldn't stop him.

it ain't much to brag about, but in 1974, at 5'9 I jumped 6'6" in the high jump at the old Lewisville track while I was on the Duncanville track team. Not bad for a short, skinny white boy. And I could two hand dunk a basketball. Hell, now I can't jump down! Machinist your brother's high jump was crazy good for his height!!

Dennis Rodman is probably right about Larry Bird not being able to play in today's NBA, but I don't think Dennis Rodman could either, neither could Shaq. Everything has changed, even the big guys are shooters now.

Dennis Rodman is probably right about Larry Bird not being able to play in today's NBA, but I don't think Dennis Rodman could either, neither could Shaq. Everything has changed, even the big guys are shooters now. Those guys wouldn't be able to play today because either a) they would break in half every player from the other team resulting in a forfeit, or b) they'd be fouled out after about the first six minutes of every game. NBA players today are not even playing the same sport as they were in the '80's and '90's.

My brother did a little substitute teaching and he had a high school P.E. class on his 50th birthday. The kids were giving him a bad time about being old. He took a volleyball and dunked it. He said none of them said anything about him being old after that
