A Louisiana judge has sentenced a man to physical castration after pleading guilty to raping a 14-year-old girl.

On April 17, District Attorney Scott Perrilloux said Glenn Sullivan, 54, was sentenced after pleading guilty to four counts of second-degree rape.

Louisiana Judge William Dykes on Monday sentenced Sullivan to be physically castrated along with serving a 50-year prison sentence.

It should be a mandatory part of their sentencing.

I am not sure that is a tough enough penalty for raping four underage girls from a 54 year old man
Hang him by his nuts and give him a butter knife let him cut himself down when he gets hungry enough

they should let her legal guardians do each one.

I hope they carry out the sentence quickly. Something tells me this will get changed on appeal. The cruel and unusual stamp has pretty much been applied to any type of physical punishment beyond incarceration.

Don't get me wrong... I think it should be mandatory for rape. I just don't see it surviving appeal.

As much as I wish the guy suffers for life, rape is far more than a physical attack.

I say chop the twig and leave the berries. All dressed up and no place to go is a fine 50-year punishment for a child rapist.
