All this rain has insects plentiful which has the snakes moving around. Been mowing and weekending the place the past 2 days and I saw a ton of snakes. Be safe out there.

I have seen one swimming at the shorline at Twin Coves I “think” just a diamondback water snake but it was a pretty good size one.

I’ve been walking around the house while looking at the ground in front of me the entire time. I’ve only seen good sneks around here but I’m not naive

One of the guys on my deer lease got hit by a rattler a couple of weeks ago. Fortunately he was wearing his snake boots and they worked exactly like they were supposed to.

That has happened to me before. It still makes you pee a little when it happens!

Oh my, look. A snake. - pronounced: /snāk/

How about naders and Raners or gers? Plenty on here but kids are goofy and stupid for the language they use.

Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right

I ran over a 14-15" copperhead yesterday heading down the road to my house.
Hate those things.

Every time I move a pile of leaves I find 1 or 2 baby rat snakes. I just cover them back up or relocate.

Referring to one’s wife as The Wife is also a hillbilly advance warning.

But on topic I live is very woody area and I not seen any copperheads in five years but I see a load of water snakes down by the boat ramp.
