I think so. Lots of things are coming out. My daughter is no angel but I think he's downright mean.

Yes, both grandkids are his...I think.

And I've been supporting his right to spend time with the kids, but becoming more obvious he's using it as leverage and not just to enjoy his kid...which is sad to me.

First thing Monday, get CPS involved along with filing a Police/Sheriff report filed. Get a good quality exterior security camera system with sound and a recording device. He said/they said isn't worth much, but having it on video is priceless.
One BIG thing is to make sure your Daughter is ready to go thru with leaving him, Divorce, Legal Separation or Moving away for awhile if they aren't married (forgive me if I missed it).
Get it into court and have his legal rights to the kids revoked if he has abused them. Possibly need to have the granddaughter see a therapist or psychiatrist to make sure nothing else has happened. Praying I am totally off base on this one.

Not accurate at all! Unless there is no safe or reliable family for kids to be with they would not go to fosters.

Beat his arse and teach him consequences of messing with your family. He can learn to get along or get out.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this, we just watched a case in Bonham where a dad came out with a shotgun and fired 3 shots to get rid of his daughters abusive BF. He ended up with a felony and on probation for 5 years. Could've got 20 years for negligent endangerment.

Get it on video, get it on file with the police, get a restraining order (I know you said it was hard, but are you hard enough for jail?), get witnesses, and most important do not lose your temper and do something you will regret.

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG! They only go to a foster home if there is no safe place within the family for them to go. Calling CPS means the offender cannot have access to them but other family members can and they can provide safe haven. I have had to call CPS in regards to students of mine and not one of them has ever gone to a foster home. You do not have a clue what you are talking about.
