Have you ever been trying to teach your son something and asked your wife to shut up for a few minutes. My oldest son may never learn how to work a frog over a tank.

My wife is quite the Chatty Cathy and helicopter mom . Very hard for them to be quiet I don’t think they can help it tho she is turning my daughters into her clones as well .

We were driving back from a trip to Arizona in my wife's new Grand Cherokee. I kept hitting all of these different buttons and she got pissed and ask what I was doing. I said "looking for your mute button". After that comment it was

I don't ever tell my wife to shut up. You should try it. Sometimes you don’t have to listen to them for days! When my wife starts b-ing for no reason, I do tell her to shut up. She's usually pretty level headed but sometimes she goes cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs. Last time was right in front of her parents when she went on a rant. All I did was give the grandchild a Dum-Dum and all of a sudden I'm somehow causing her eating problems and tooth decay. Definitely quiet a few days.
