I need to fill some bamboo trays with some sort of plastic that will hold water. Well, flowers in water.

ABS moldable plastic seems ok. Never worked with it but I don't think I could heat it up enough to form to the tray.

Any ideas?

the 1/8" will form easy with just a good heat gun.

I use a plumbers propane thawing torch (colorado, had to have.) and bend 1/4" for fender flairs on our can ams.

this is the 1/8", no idea how big that mold is.

just beware, you can set it on fire pretty easy when it gets hot. if it bends on its own, you lost it.

You can even seal the inside with fiberglass resin or even superglue. Buy a 6oz bottle of medium viscosity super glue from BobSmithIndustries (BSI) get the spray activator and it would take a few seconds per side to cure.

I actually use the glue when refinishing high end custom pool cues. It makes for a VERY good clear finish.

These guys make a bunch of cool stuff out of recycled plastic. Some cool ideas might be had from here.

This would work. Or you can use Spray Bedliner.

Wouldn't it be easier to buy a plastic flower box?
