Will charge flooded cell batteries when cranking battery reaches full charge. I know the host battery can be an AGM but not sure about batteries being charged. Works good. My XI5 would start showing yellow and when I ran big motor to move to a new spot it would be green again. I believe that it is 2 years old maybe 3. Requires a 35 amp alternator. It is suppose to increase battery life by charging batteries on the lake. I can't verify that but I noticed a reduction in charging time when I got home. Switching to lithium so I no longer need it. $50.
