Crank are you in Colorado?
I have been considering a move to Colorado. Smaller town in SE Co. I am from the West originally and miss mountains... tired of big city living.
What should I know about living in Colorado when considering a move? Any advice? Is everyone there as cool as you?

I spend 99% of my time on conspiracy forums talking about fishing. They think I’m weird AF You do sound weird, at least I post all kinds of stuff on the "Off Topic" section. May I suggest you stop being weird? All kinds of stuff = stupid conspiracy theories and screen shots of conspiracy theories. I just looked at the last 15 threads I started, 1 is a conspiracy. Maybe your governor can make a special safespace just for you, fully stocked with pacifiers and all. Did you count the stupid screen shots though?

Boulder was like a cancer that spread throughout the state, it’s exactly what’s happening in Austin right now. With the green movement BS, anti-gun BS and the homo BS, I wouldn’t recommend the move. Southeast…Pueblo or Springfield type of southeast?

Southeast…Pueblo or Springfield type of southeast? No. Pueblo, as mentioned, is indeed a dump. Not familiar with Springfield. I was looking at Trinidad. I have been visiting a few times a year for the last several years. I like the mountains, town seems just the right size, its beautiful around there. People are nice, rugged folks, but friendly. Fishing is good, lots of great places to hike and camp, cost of living is excellent. Small town vibe but you have a super Wal Mart. Not much for work but I can work remotely. Town has lots of history, beautiful buildings etc. Has character... cant say that about DFW really. I am not concerned about "homo" stuff. To each his own. And that is not a Colorado thing btw. Its all over. Green stuff? Some of it goes too far and is silly. I like clean water and air, quality places to hunt and fish though. So its a balance there. Not buying an electric car though... what a sham that is. Thoughtful development and "river clean up's" though, I support 100%. Now the gun stuff, my understanding is Colorado has had Constitutional carry for years. Way before Texas. Can you tell more about that? I am not a big gun nut but do own firearms and do carry. My 2A rights are important to me. Thanks for the input!

I voted for gay marriage in Colo, but the Christian’s were right. It’s a slippery slope and now they want trans reading to kids and in their bathrooms and trying to normalize pedos.
I think Trinidad is still ok amd almost all places 45 minutes east of I25

I’ll look into the other 2A stuff, I know they are pushing things through right now. But I do believe it will be ruled unconstitutional. I haven’t lived there for 4 years now.

I bailed from summit county (breckenridge/keystone) after 20 yrs. due to the kalifornicators moving in. irony is I was making a killing on building their mcCastles. state sucks bad now, no way would I live anywhere on the front range. check out rifle, grand junction, plenty to do and lots of great fishing close. they are a lot more conservative in that area.

I would move to Utah way before I moved to Colorado, and I’m not Mormon.
