Rate my Steak...

This was the steak I made last night. Bone in Ribeye, Choice, 1.25lbs. Seasoned it with SPG and a shake of red pepper flakes. For the side had a chicken biriyani rice my wife made for her dinner.

Cost me $4.55. Pro Tip at Tom Thumb when they put steak on "Managers Special" (i.e. has to be cooked same day) they are mixed in with the reg. priced steaks. Not thrown in the discount area like at Kroger...at least at the one I go to in Flo Mo. I almost always get a $15+ steak for $5 or so.

It was just hella good. I was like I gotta take a picture of this and try to make them all look like this... since this one tastes so good.

Thanks! And, Ouch! My sweet babe made that rice. And its chicken biryani, not just rice. Its really quite good. But agreed, a baked potato is the ideal choice IMO. Or fries. Not big on beans, but I get it.

The last couple of HEB steaks I bought tasted like they died of natural causes. $16.99 a pound, cooked med rare, and tough as a boot. Not sure what's up with HEB.
