Went ape $h!$ yesterday.

I’m hopeful a software update will correct? Anyone know what’s going on here? The bottom is showing vertically. This happened on its own after no input from me. One minute it’s working perfectly, then it’s started glitching.

Finally at the end of the day it was normal again after I played with the AHRS settings and flipped image. 🤷‍♂️

If this is a continuous problem, is this the box or transducer? [Linked Image]

Can you take a pic of the transducer installed.

check your transducer and see if it accidently turned a click or two. I've had similar and that was the culprit.

Not the transducer orientation, I messed with that while on the water. The screen also had a significant lag while it was glitching, then it would go back to working properly on its own for a few minutes before glitching again. The transducer is on a fish obsessed mount in the exact position it’s been in while working perfectly.

The top pic is while it starts glitching, the bottom pic is when it settles down.

BTW, go to Choke Canyon if you want to play merry go around the community holes with all the guides and catch a bunch of skinny 6 to 16 inchers, it’s on fire….

Actually the lake is in pretty sad shape and the fish look like [censored].

That Forward Looker is possessed by the devil! You need to discard it immediately, it makes fishin’ too easy.

Did you try powering off the Head Unit and the box and turning it back on? Believe it or not, I had the same problem with my Humminbird Mega-Live in a specific area of Belton Lake a couple of weeks ago. No changes in the Transducer setup and the forcing to Forward mode didn't fix it. Had to power off the Transducer itself to get it to re-figure itself out.

I turned the graph off, then unplugged the black box power, turned everything back on and same thing. I’m hoping a software update will do the trick. I haven’t updated in 6 months or so.

When the unit starts to go crazy, grab the cable that goes to the transducer and go down the cable inch by inch and bend the cable. You may have pinched the cable somewhere. If you find a spot where it looks like it was possibly damaged, you will have to cut out a section and splice it. I cut my 360 cable twice in the ultrex. Let us know if you find anything.

Have you calibrated the compass?
