Looking to buy a good pair of polarized sunglasses. I know Costa are really good but they come w a big price tag. Any suggestions for ones closer to $125

I prefer to have two pairs.

One green mirror - sunny days
One amber - cloudy - best all around if I only had one pair

If you can tolerate the weight, glass will scratch a lot less and last longer…

Try https://www.ezcontacts.com, for costas, at first I was hesitant, but it was legit, and have been happy with getting them cheaper through them.

Strike King makes in expensive ones, I get about 2 years out of a pair. If you want to support ole Randy B then try the solar bats…

Oakley Deep Blue Prism polarized. I don’t remember what I paid for them, but they work really well and I don’t think they were too expensive. Bought em off a tool truck with some other stuff that day.

I tend to agree with RCarter.

We are willing to spend 500 dollars on a rod and reel combo but fret at the idea of glasses and I get it. I use to treat glasses like throw away objects "im just going to lose them anyways" and i always did UNTIL i got a good pair.

Never skimp on anything between you and the ground (shoes and bed) and never skimp on eye wear (or ear protection for hunters)

Going to be hard to tell fishing stories when you are 80 and blind and deaf.

If you have eye insurance through an employer or wherever you can a lot of times get a .001 prescription and save some money that way too.

Smith Optics are the best IMO, but for great optics, you are always going to pay that much.

I’m really happy with my Amphibia glasses, a bit more than $125 but I think still less the the Costa stuff.

I’ve got the Eclipse frames. Sandstorm for day to day and Amber Wave for sight fishing

The markup in sunglasses is not a direct correlation to quality. Sunglasses are marketed about like handbags for women.

I wear prescription sunglasses with bifocals. I use WileyX and love them.
