this will the be the most expensive 5 mins. of pleasure in the history of mankind.
prove me wrong.
I think quite of few men would argue that. talking gross overall money spent on staring into the sun thru some 4.99 glasses from 7/11. people are stooooopid imo.  And still have a mess to clean up...

I’m already experiencing the eclipse traffic around here. Out of state license plates all over my commute this week clogging up traffic. It is the worst problem we have Every road from Weatherford to Rockwall Is a parking lot Our state is ruined

We have rain forecasted and to be honest , I'd rather get 2 inches of rain than see the moon pass in front of the sun.

once in a lifetime chance to see a total eclipse and everyone out of its path is happy they are not in it...  It’s not once in a lifetime. Had one in 2017 you could have seen in the US. You may have to travel to see one but there will be others if you want to see it bad enough. So how many total eclipses have you seen? Some of you guys are jaded. I'm looking forward to it - cloudy or not. Same here, it was an excuse to take the kids out of school and get a 2 day weekend. I work every Saturday so I don't get enough time off as is.

this has gone beyond nuts. this is what the gov. of indiana is saying you need along for a 5 minute whoopy doo.  read the article, proves we have lost it as a society. Indiana Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb declared a statewide disaster emergency as part of his effort to prepare the state of an influx of hundreds of thousands of visitors. Visit Indiana offers these tips for residents of and visitors to the state: Have a full tank of gas. Bring a couple of gallons of water. Bring shelf-stable snacks. Use correct eclipse glasses. Bring backup auto fluids. Bring a phone and car charger. Bring a physical or paper map. Bring cash. Bring extra medication. Pack a first-aid kit. Keep a basic toolkit on hand. Have jumper cables in the car. Have a headlamp or flashlight with extra batteries. Keep a spare tire or flat tire kit.
