 Launching question.

I am about to mount an Ultrex on my boat. My question is when launching by yourself do any of you use the trolling motor to spotlock while you go park and then use the remote to pick you up? Sometimes there are no spaces on the bank to pull the boat up to while parking and I hate to be the one tying up the boat ramp while others wait.

I have an Ulterra and I sometimes do that at a busy launch.
