It was an honor to meet Don yesterday in a restaurant bar. My Dad was an Iwo Jima survivor as well. Almost 6000 Americans died in that battle. My wife and I were blessed to buy him a beer and sit and talk to him for a few minutes. He is very sharp and quick witted. He had plenty to say about what he believes is the current world view of America. He is a true Hero, not the athletes who's name was on the jerseys of a lot of people there watching a silly baseball game. One of the men who influenced my life was a Marine Lt. Colonel who was wounded in Iwo Jima. Thanks for buying him a beer!
