My dad has been looking for a cc boat for a while now and I finally think we found one but wanted some oppinions about this brand. My dad and I are new to CC boats (bass fishermen) and i really know nothing about the brand. It is a 1999 Pro Master 210 w/ a 125merc. So oppinions on this boat would be very helpful. We make several trips to the coast every year and usually take a smaller jon boat but would like to be able to take more people and not be scared to get a little further from land. It will be used for the bay maybe take it out to the end of the jetties but that would be pushing it. Thanks

I bought a new 185 back in 1999 from Travis Boats & Motors in Austin. I've had to retighten virtually all the fittings, (a little Gorilla Glue in the hole first helps), and had to reattatch the backrest over the ice chest numerous times at the floor with Marine Tex. Have also replaced the powerpak in the 115 Johnson twice. But you shouldn't have that problem. The ride is rough in a chop and not very dry, but I can go about 3-4" shallower than my buddy's 190 Kenner/125Merc. I have had very few, if any, problems with wiring or plumbing. Overall, I'm happy with this rig.

Good boats just get ready for a wet ride.

Be wary of floor and stringer rot. Pretty decent boats, but mine had no dry storage, and the floor was wood and it had soft spots when I sold it. You will want to test ride it in choppy water because the stringers come lose from the floor and you won't know it before you hear them slapping together in rough water. Otherwise, no complaints.

I have a 210 Pro Master and I really like it . Mine is a 2000 21 footer. I take my boat to the coast all the time. I have even been off shore a lot of times. I have the 130HP Johnson and I really has been very good to me but I use nothing but OMC fluids for gas treatment, outboard oil, lower unit oil all OMC. E-mail me if you have any questions and I will send you my phone number.
