I cannot stand having cabinet doors left open. Carry on

Hate a dark kitchen.

Trying to find the container lid...

Open cabinet door, 500 bowls of all different sizes stacked on each other try to fall out. The lid, if you could find one, is probably at the back.

Can’t stand a dirty kitchen. Should be fingerprints on the refrigerator or cabinet handles, oven, dishwasher, etc.

Alright, since retiring and Mrs RayBob still works I try to do a meal, 2, or 3 a week. Kinda depends on the weather in that if it's chitty outside I'm OK with preparing a meal but if it's nice I don't wanna cook. Thing is, if I'm cooking a wash pots, pans, bowls, utensils as I go. At meals end the wash up is just what we used to eat with. Our kitchen is clean right now, even polished the granite counter tops. I cooked Monday and Tuesday this week.

My wife spends a lot of weekends in the kitchen prepping a lot of deserts, one throw in the oven meal for the coming week and then supper for 2 nights. and it is always a wreck after she's done. Dirty pots and pans and bowls and anything else piling up. Disaster area. On Mondays I can have a whole hour and a half in the morning cleaning up her messes from the weekend.

The woman using metal inside my high dollar AllClad pots and pans. Going as far as tapping a metal spoon against the pot rim.

"But it was made to use metal in them".

Not in these they're not.

I hate it if someone uses one of my knives and doesn't clean it ASAP.

I have a 7" Wusthof Classic chef knife and it stays razor. It's sharp enough that she's afraid to use it. And I don't blame her. I keep her a few dull knives handy. Where she can smash through something and we're not sitting in an emergency room for 6 hours.

I do 99.99% of all cooking and food prep. My wife waits until I am doing one or the other sometimes before she decides to put up the dishes or needs a dish towel that is in a drawer I`m standing in front of.

My wife also does almost all the dishes since I cook. While I`m fixing a meal and walk away for whatever reason, she will take something I have used and wash it off and put to dry. Drives my nuts. bang

Wait what? She does the dishes?.....after you spend 2-3 hours shaping a meal worthy of saying grace?

There's a discussion that needs to take place.
