I am getting ready for a trip to Canada in July and bought clear shrink wrap and cut 1/2 pieces for all my SENKO style worms. I discovered that the Z Man 10X Tough ElaZTech worms do not allow you to shrink wrap them, whatever is in them to make them elastic, come apart when you use the heat gun, so, if you want to try using shrink wrap instead of O rings, do not buy the ones with ElaZTech. Great fishing all.

Use electrical heat shrink tubing. The 3/8" fits the 5" stick baits without heating it.

I fish a wacky rig a LOT!!! It’s been my finding that saving a worm means losing a fish. Fun fishing? Maybe it’s worth it, but if you HAVE to have the best hookup ratio, use a super soft senko and let it fly.

Arsenal makes a clear silicon keeper specifically for wacky and Neko fishing senkos. You’ll need some pliers to install them, but I’ve found them to be great. Still catch large numbers wacky rigging and my worm loss rate is down significantly. No cast offs and you can catch four to five fish off a single worm.

I bought a roll of silicone tubing on amazon and cut it in 1/4” pieces. 10’ roll will out live me

I am having good luck using a clear hair tie with my wacky rigs. Cheap from a dollar store and it is quick and easy to rig up.

^^^^^ this. Out there with $100K investment (at least) and your trying to skimp on a $.50 bait to save it.

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

I tried the Goody women’s hair ties. Great idea!! BUT they are broken down by the plastic bait and disintegrate after an hour or so. You cast and your plastic bait flies into oblivion.

Why on earth would you need to do that with an elaztech bait in the first place? the whole point of them is durability
