2nd & 3rd place were stout too. Watkins is powerful and if stays healthy and out of trouble he has a bright future.

I had to chuckle when the narrator qualified it by saying they get a 'running' start without the benefit of blocks. True however all handoffs had to be PERFECT which gave them a bigger advantage than the fly in start did.

Hope those kids stay in Texas.

Tired of Florida and LSU taking our speedsters.

Some people like to say Bob Hayes still has the fastest split ever recorded for an anchor leg in the 4x100.
He was a slowish starter for a world record holder, but once that guy got past the drive phase, he had three other gears not many have had.

That time would be the 2nd fastest time in the NCAA this yr. Crazy how fast those kids are.
