How many of you all sign up for this every year, and if so have you won any money.

I had a co angler with me a couple years back that caught a tagged fish on Logan Martin and I think he won $1400. When you sign up for the Coosa River chain you get 3 or 4 lakes on that one purchase. I have fished it the past three years and have not won anything, but it makes even those fun fishing days on those lakes somewhat interesting on every catch.

I say every year I’m going to enter and then don’t. I know a guy that caught 3-4 last year on Caddo with a tag and head of another that caught one with the boat tag but wasn’t entered.

If I did not get in , I know that I would catch the tagged fish for the truck or boat……
I find it a very cheap venture to still go and fun fish but still get excited on every catch to see if it is tagged. Worse case is I just lose around $100, that is just one tournament fee where I did not win it and this spans a few months not just one day.
The good side is I think the worse you can do is $1400 per fish, that’s if you get the T-shirt for a extra $25 or so, but still less than $100.

They didn't do it at Lake Fork last year and probably not this yr either(haven't checked). My nephew came over from LA 1st yr they tagged 100 and caught one in no name. 2021 friend won march with a 10.90 and 2022 I didn't get in but was planning too when my friend did told him I would next time I'm down, we'll forgot and bout 5 mins after I caught a 9lb 14oz donkey, I remembered. Well a 9.6 won that April.

Me and the Mrs. signed up for Caddo. We are headed over there for a few days at the end of the month.

I live on Toledo and know 2 guys that didn't enter and caught tagged fish. Funny thing is I always enter, catch tons of fish, but never a tagged one. Even cashed several checked in Sealy last year. But I guarantee you the first time I don't enter, the first fish I catch will be a tagged one. so I'm in.

Had the lead on Fork with an over until a guide customer beat me out with 2 days left on the month. I was told they didn't want to come back to Fork, because it was too far west for them.
