Been some in shallow water since about mid Feb. Probably still some there. Weather has greater affect on the shallow fish so choose the best time to go. Good fish

It’s almost over been spawning since Feb. With that said you can still find a few !!

I was there this Past Saturday. I caught my limit I was catching good size females between 12-15 ft on brush piles and timber. The females where still full of eggs.

I am headed there for the first time April 8th weekend. There to fish and see the eclipse.
1st time to this lake. Glad to hear some have not spawned and on brushpiles.
I bet by weekend of April 8, it will be post spawn.

12 - 15ft of water. Around 12 females I caught was bulging , when I was cleaning them the wife asked what that yellow stuff was and told her eggs..
