I'll keep an Ozark Trail forever. I'll lose a Spyderco in 24 hours.

Me too, one in the truck , two in my desk , one in the boat , probably 3 in the bath room , one in the kitchen junk drawer.
I probably have a dozen of my dads knives in keepsake boxes in the closet.
Mostly gerber , old timer and kershaw. one of my favorites is a cheap out the front knife from Amazon.

Spyderco Delica II has been my go to carry for about 20 years. Stainless slick sided. I like the straight blade instead of the serrated or half serrated.

Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.

I carry the Griptilian, as I said earlier, but have other knives, including my Dad’s best friends castrating 3 blade knife. It shows signs of much use over the decades, and when I pick it up a small part…..no no…a large part of me tingles and tightens up.

Nothing fancy but have carried one for 20+ years. A comfortable knife in slacks, jeans or anything else you wear. Not heavy and holds and edge really well.
