All I know is if you think you can run a successful restaurant business then get ya some, we are not changing prices from peak to off time but we are trying everything we know to remain in business, it is a tough go right now.

I do not eat fast food...... but Mcdonalds meat patties are 100% beef (no additives or flavorings), fairly priced and yummy for a workday meal.

it's really gotten nuts... two combo's at Whataburger $26, used to be able to get a sit down meal for that... seems everything has doubled, but the service and quality have not kept up... bang

The corporations pass it on. Funny how some folks never get that.

Wendys is not going to do surge pricing. A discussion around surge pricing was taken out of context and some of the media outlets ran with it as if it was the real deal. I know you are shocked. eeks

It's basically already there in practice....you can't keep anyone for 14 anyway. All my cooks are between 15.50 and 17..... and that is a little low in my market

Double edge sword.

Food/labor cost forcing price increase's.

Loss of customers due to high prices.

It's way more than the food and labor, every vendor we have and we have a bunch from utilities, repair services, equipment, towels, co2, IT stuff etc has gone up because of their labor and other factors. The actual food cost is really the least of the concerns. Places are dropping like Flys. I talked to a guy involved with a large company. Their delinquency rate from franchises has tripled in the last year and he basically said they have no idea how they are gonna get the ones that are behind caught up. The number he quoted me was a very large number. Lots of places just waiting till their lease options come up so they can get out clean.

I don't eat fast food regularly.

Popeyes only when I have coupons
Whataburger or Bush's when driving to deer lease
Wendy's to keep my AA miles from expiring
