I'm curious if anyone has any recommendations for staying overnight at Welsh. Has anyone ever slept in the parking lot at the ramp? Any decent but cheap hotels in Mt Pleasant? Any troubles with vandalism or theft at these areas?
Thanks
Clay

Executive Inn in Pittsburg was really nice. About 12 minutes to the ramp, very clean place. Small parking lot but has a small turnaround at the back. We parked parallel through parking spaces since it wasn’t busy. It was like $60 a room.

We've stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Mt Pleasant several times. Ample parking although you may not be right outside your room. Electrical hookups on most of the light poles. Never had an issue and it's an easy drive to Welsh. Walk across the parking lot to the Jalapeno Tree. A little more expensive at $100 +/- per nite.

I always stick a silhouette target in the ground beside my truck and boat with about 30 bullet holes through the heart and 8-10 through the head. Works every time.

I second this because we roomed together. It was years ago that we stayed there but there was a plug right in front of the office and it was well lit. Otherwise you had to run a cord from your room.

Thanks for the input. I went yesterday but the fishing wasn't good enough to stay the night.
