This is a legit comparison

Until fish starting jumping banks to take off, the entire lake is a high fence. The never scopers are grasping for straws.

Because when people caught fish, it had multiple hooks stuck all over it. It didn’t look good on tv, so it was banned.

Because the inventors pockets weren't deep enough to sponsor a trail

Meh, my answer was from a Bassmaster employees podcast.

Steve Kennedy was on a podcast and said it was from sponsor pressure

Simple, you are fishing with more than one bait at a time. Same reason the double fluke was banned.

The A-rig ban was not initiated by BASS, the anglers are the one that asked for BASS to ban it. Just like some are doing with FFS.

Funny thing is if the olds quit BASS, they will still get the butts beat off by it in the Tuesday nighters, lol.

I had no idea FFS setups cost so much. Do the sponsors pay for any of this? It seemed like some of the guys were just guessing what their setups cost... almost like they didn't pay for it themselves.

Regarding the Alabama Rig from a 2014 NY Times article - "“It’s a legitimate and ethical way to catch fish, but we hold professional anglers to a higher standard,” said David Precht, a spokesman for BASS. “Their argument — and I want to emphasize it’s not our argument — the anglers feel that sometimes it can be too effective and it takes away some of the skill in what is a traditional tournament.”

Not sure how you can advocate for the A-Rig being too effective, yet LiveScope is not. Not arguing one way or the other, but definitely not consistent messaging

most of them get their electronics very reasonable to free and that advertising sells millions and millions in electronics each year for the manufactures

Woah woah. Saying that is heresy on this board.

Yea, just listen to them in the video. Most are way under on what retail is. Jordan Lee says he thinks those 4k hds lives are around 1500 a piece. Lol

If people are too stupid to know their limits, then they deserve to go broke buying equipment. Doesn’t matter how much you own, if you can’t use it properly. (Effectively)

That could be used to describe FFS! cheers

$1500 to add it to most recently made graphs aint really that expensive.
