I completely forgot about this unreleased 2022 footage, so I went ahead and made it into a video. Got careless handling this feisty 5 foot gator gar out of the Brazos, was repaid with a razor sharp scale cutting open my finger. Thankfully not serious, but it bled a lot!

I've had the same thing happen, they are sharp. Been bit a few times being reckless too.
