I know you can go to several of the Mexican lakes (El Salto/Picachos, etc) and catch plenty of good fish. What lake produces the most double digit? Trying to set up a trip with my older brother and I. Thanks!

I’ve been to Salto/Picachos quite a bit the last 18 months and have yet to get a DD but man is it a blast. Salto has the reputation for bigger fish and while it’s probably well earned, Picachos is catching up quickly. That being said, I think Baccarac would be your best odds at a DD. I’ve just never been.

Never been personally but I remember watching some pretty insane videos of the bass being caught at Baccarac. A true giant factory.

Comedero used to be considered one of the elite trophy bass lakes in Mexico but it is currently not in the discussion due to the overharvesting. Sad, but true.

Been to Comedero. Even in it's heyday it wasn't throwing out many DD's. We caught LOTS of good fish but no DD's. Biggest I had on that week was a heavy 7.
