Some very good improvements indeed. Nicely done.

And if that weight forward is not to your liking, you can power the screen and black box with 18volt power tool batteries. I've been using Milwaukee 9ah batteries ($100 ea) and they do well. The black box pulls the most juice and the 9ah lasts about 7 hrs on the black box. After 4 hrs, if you swap batteries, you're good for 6 more hrs. The 12ah batteries last all day but they are $200 each. Also, a good lithium 30ah will last all day. Seelite makes an adapter for the Milwaukee or Dewalt batteries that have just a positive and neg lead. I mounted the adapters in the front of the middle rod box. No extra cable needed. And no weight in the front. And I'd also invest in a good ball cap or big brim hat. Getting those sun rays many hrs a day on the water will take a toll on your skin. Might not be a problem now, but talk to some of the guys who have been guiding for many years. Or a dermatologist. Good Anthony.

I am covered up during the warmer months every trip. I don't want to burn each trip out. During the winter, early spring, I am usually covered up with clothes more.

Glad to see you on the water putting the new tools to work. Although it was a beautiful day, it was a blue bird day after a front and that in itself will make for a really tough day of fishing. I was killing it with a jig and bobber before this 1st front hit and the bite has yet to return. Tip, lower the lower adjustment below the sleeve to where it is not touching. I also have a small cup on board and pour some water on the sleeve. thos two things will eliminate the noise whe rotating the shaft.
