COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

I have used glow jigs offshore for deep dropping. Can't say it matters during day light, but the night guys might see a difference...Back in the day we used glow sticks at night trolling for striper and that did make a difference...I'm not for sure what light spectrum a crappie sees.

Might work but I can say even when it is pitch black I can see on the mega live, fish come up to a regular jig from 8-9 feet feet away. I always use black jigs at night. Give it a try and let us know how they work. Maybe it will get em, maybe not but you never know.

were fishing up to 50 feet deep on timber in winter, in moderately stained water.. sometimes the crappie are either in some kind of dormant mood or just cannot see the jig. They are stuck tight to a tree and hardly move.. sometimes having to bump them with the jig to get them to move.. I ordered some of the glow jigs and will try to get back out there while some crappie are still deep and see what thier reaction is..

Can't say it matters during day light, but the night guys might see a difference...Back in the day we used glow sticks at night trolling for striper and that did make a difference...I'm not for sure what light spectrum a crappie sees. we know that baitfish and gamefish are attracted to light for whatever reason, so the glow might kind of grab thier attention, and make them single a glow jig out, amongst a plethora of other baitfish meandering thru an area. we also know that crappie have lateral lines as well . so likely its a combination of feeling a jig moving thru the water as well as seeing it. there is no doubt after watching a crappie swim out of a brushpile, look at a jig, then quickly swim back in the pile, that they make decisions abt baits.. likely not a very complex process, but they do have discretion's..
