Has anyone have any reports from Neches at Chandler yet? Use this thread to past any updates

Not a report but about 17 vehicles there Saturday. Quite a few parked on side of 31facing west. looked like water moving some and stained. Ill stop by this Friday as I will be in Tyler and give a better report then

stopped by Friday afternoon. Seemed like everyone had 2 or 3 on a varity of baits. Seems like small spinners were the best. Water slowed down a bit but still pretty stained. 20 cars in big lot and ramp lot was full.. It will only get better. ( did not talk to anyone boating , just bank beaters within 100 yards of big lot)

Went yesterday. Fished up the river from the bridge (hwy 31) and back down to the other side of the railroad tracks. Caught a few small ones. There were a lot of people fishing. On the banks and in boats. But they all said they were just catching a few. I hope the fishing gets better.

Anyone went within the past week or so thinking about trying it in the morning

I went yesterday morning and Thursday, wednesday didn’t see anyone with a fish. I got one. The water is moving fast and it was really dirty. Hoping later this week it really picks up.

I went Saturday morning. Same report as BaldEagle. Not a fish caught anywhere. It was cold and windy and cloudy,water was up and running quick. Not sure if any of that had anything to do with it or just no fish running yet. Hopefully they turn on this week

Hit Chandler River Park today. Total was 23 with 6 whites, one 19 inch hybrid and the rest yellow bass. They liked a white straight tail on a road runner.

I always look forward to your annual report Mudbelly. You never forget to mention the yellow bass.
