Welcome to bass fishing. 39 years old = “young buck”. If all of these “pro” anglers that claim to
Be “competitive” really wanted competition. They would want to compete against the best in an undisputed top league.

Right now it’s watered down semi-pro situation. Have they started handing out participation ribbons yet? I don’t care what happend on ESPN back in the day. Right now, there should be one top tour, that’s what there is space, that’s what is sustainable.

I watched TNN on Sunday nights, right before the rodeo came on if I remember right. Bill Dance, bass master, Roland Martin, Orlando Wilson, Jimmy Houston.

I'm not a MLF basher (but do prefer BASS), but watching Gill and the others hunched over thier screens on the bow jiggling baits... well it's just not fishing to me. It's not just MLF, same applies to BASS. For some that may be fishing, but being a good old southern boy from Ga and living in Florida, it just doesn't appeal to me.

I totally get it not be appealing, but it’s definitely fishing even if we do or don’t like it. Every tournament is going to be won by using the best method to catch fish- whatever that ends up being.

It has gotten unwatchable in any league. Not bashing FFS, I just can't watch someone doing it.

I quit watching it years ago... I've never watched it live and don't plan on watching it... I may tune into the weigh ins but that's the extent of watching... I'm too busy fishing... See y'all out on the water... Dan fish

The last 20 minutes of the day around 3:30pm to watch the cut line move is the best part

Tiny baits and light line in February on Toledo Bend is not bass fishing.
