Putting a beacon on an operator is hilarious. You have no clue how this works...

Sucks. They were stationed where my buddy is. I reached out to him for details and condolences, but haven't heard back.

This thread is pretty disgusting quite honestly - Two SEALS died and you guys want to see who knows more or plays more video games or some chit...good Lord man, pay these guys the respect the thread name deserves. Two of our best paid the ultiimate price for our freedom... doesn't matter who's watch this happened under - and quite honestly its pretty simply your watch.

Special Warfare Operator 2nd Class Nathan Gage Ingram from Roanoke frown - sad day for the SEAL community and those who care.

Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.

I don't know much about this, but I'm thinking that it probably occurred at night. I've seen those little janky caving ladders they use - it would seem super easy to get knocked off one of those, especially in rough seas. Going in that water, potentially between two boats that are underway at night time...there is all sorts of bad to that scenario.

Those guys are heroes.
