and where? I think I may head to Squaw....Going to be cold.. Be aware , you may have to dodge a chug hole on the way out.

I refuse to fish water temp under 50 and air temps under 30 ( and it better not be over 10 mph winds ), life it too short for that [censored]. You iron men can have the lakes all to yourself.

Oh yeah and my trailer sticking to my boat on day 2 and using a blow torch to unfreeze my steering and taking reels inside so they would work in the morning and waking up on day 2 with 13" of snow in the boat. No mas, amigo. In all truthfulness it's much easier to stay comfortable ice fishing, than bass fishing in a boat in 40* and windy. Just two different animals..lol. Although it was so cold Tuesday evening my propane heater wouldn't work..propane doesn't like 5* temps. Although some crappie and bluegill did.

I will be fishing somewhere... on Saturday.. they were still biting at Martin Creek last weekend. May try for something bigger at Murvaul, or take sisters grandkids to fish for trout somewhere.

Welsh is exceptional when they are pumping. Saturday should be one of those perfect times to be fishing it. They will be pumping at max capacity and even with high barometric pressure the fish will be very active. One of the clubs cancelled their tournament there Saturday because of 20 degree temps and โskeeredโ that the ramp might freeze. ๐๐๐๐

Nope. Not as crazy as I oncetawas. +1 Back when I was working, I most likely would have been out there. Now that I'm retired, I have become a fair-weather fisherman. Too hot, cold, windy, raining I'm inside with a hot cup of coffee.
