Anyone watched The Pacific. Damn fine miniseries about the Marines in the Pacific in WWII. I highly recommend it. Just as good as Band Of Brothers. Personally I liked it better, but I'm kind of partial to jarheads.

One of the characters (RV Burgin) in the movie lived south of Dallas in Lancaster until his passing a few years ago. Meet him at book signings, gun / air shows in the area.

Yes, several times..... phenomenal... as was/is "Band of Brothers." I've been anxiously awaiting "Masters of the Air" since it was first announced. I can't wait!

It was based on the books 'With The Old Breed' and 'Helmet for my Pillow' Can't remember the third book. suggest reading them all.

I watched it, but IMO - no where near as good as BOB. Don't get me wrong, it was darn good, but not near BOB.

There is a Documentary called "The War". It is about WWII. It is the best documentary I have ever seen.
