I don't get the attraction for HEB. I get it they are Texas based, I have two of them less than 3 miles from me each way.
I like them, but not really seeing what the attraction is

I love HEB, but I love it from afar... their employees do my shopping and I pick it up curbside. I ain't enduring that mess!

Happy for the people in that area.
It all depends on the size of the HEB at a given location.
The HEB Plus is great and they even have higher grade stores like the one in Central Texas that has a barbeque joint, and a multi level store where you can eat along with a parking garage.
We call their small stores HEB minus, like the ones in Ennis, Corsicana, and Mexia.
