And for those of you down in the Rio Grande Valley, the Laguna Madre Fly Fishing Association hosts a fly tying meet at 7:00 PM the first Thursday of every month. The event is hosted by the Bass Pro Shops in Harlingen, back in the fishing tackle section. Bring your own vise and tools, or use theirs.

Adding to this - - I think the Tailwaters Dallas fly tying is on the THIRD THURSDAY of every month? And does this one cost something? Love to hear the guys from Tailwaters chime in here ...

I just heard that Los Pescadores will be hosting the LMFFA fly tying meetings once they open, ostensibly by the end of this week.
