I’ve been catching fish at Fork and the freezer is full. Ready to be able to catch and release some fish on Lake Palestine. I’ve never fished there so I was hoping for some reports or good starting points. Thanks in advance. Will be posting a report on how we do there.

I suspect another "EXPERT" will confirm.... No Release on Palestine during the winter months. Refer to TX Angler rules.

I am no expert. !! But Lake Palestine does not have the rule about keeping the first 25. It only applies to Lake O the Pines and Lake Fork.

I think it is a rule that first time Palestine fisherman must fish the Big Bridge on 155 for the first two years. smile
Only then are they allowed to look for brushpiles and standing timber. smile
They can also drift around in deep water down by the dam.

Good luck

Yea you can absolutely catch and release on Palestine. I’m hoping to follow the main creek/river channel and find timber near by. Pretty much the same thing I do at Fork. I appreciate the inputs!
