I'm pretty sure those are for livestock only. Hope he doesn't get it in his water bowl while drinking.

I'm pretty sure those are for livestock only. Hope he doesn't get it in his water bowl while drinking. Every dog I’ve had for 30+ yrs have worn one. My last two lived 15 and 18 yrs. I will keep doing what works

For another use, throw a couple of those in the cowling of your boat motor to keep the dirt dobbers and spiders out  you’re welcome

Those are pretty strong. I used to use them but trimmed them down to about the size of a quarter. They worked great!

Insecticidal ear tags are formulated to control horn flies and other insects that impair the healthy growth of large economic animals, primarily cattle. The active ingredients will also kill fleas but less effective against ticks than other pesticides. Ear tags work like flea collars, but will not have as effective long term control over fleas as collars containing an insect growth regulator such as methoprene. I used to direct development of insecticidal products and also sold an ear tag company in Temple.
