I'm getting a little old and things are a little foggy these days but back in the day there were a certain amount of teams that had a certain number of 2 man teams. At the first of the year there would be a bracket with the two 2 man teams that would fish against each other that month. The cool thing was you would just contact the team you were going to fish against and you would discuss and agree upon the lake and the day and time to fish. It was great to have so much flexibility to get it scheduled. You would then meet and decide on the hours to fish and then meet up and do a little weigh in and put down the results that would be relayed to the person keeping up with the bracket and info.
Then at the end of the year there would be a Championship where all of the teams would be present and fish. Not to brag but Team Sweeeet was tough to beat during the Championship. But it was a real fun way and something different as far as just a matchplay event and the flexible schedule.
