Yeah I can’t seem to post a link that to save my life on this forum. Other forums I’m on you can literally copy and paste that.

I’m an unapologetic capitalist- but private equity can screw things up royally- I’m witnessing this first hand with my wife’s employer.

I liked the $hit out of the video.. I watched the whole thing, and it brought up some interesting points. Good point of view from behind the scenes.

Personally think he brought a lot of very points as to why it’s idiotic to be a pro fisherman. Private equity as usual has bled the industry dry and if these guys think the money is going to rise think otherwise. J. D

It’s not idiotic to be a pro fisherman but you definitely don’t want to put all your eggs in one basket. I don’t know how anyone can justify the costs versus payouts for these tourneys and think it is a way to make a living. He does it because he is already well off and just enjoys tournament fishing

They have made banknon and off the water from being a pro fisherman.

It’ll go in cycles. Private equity will dump or is dumping fishing products/skinny jeans clothing/mountain bikes and move into the next market niches trending upwards…like pickle ball, weight lifting, baggy clothing, and platform shoes.

I’m an unapologetic capitalist- but private equity can screw things up royally- I’m witnessing this first hand with my wife’s employer. Myself and my partners sold to a PE company about 10 years ago. In the 10 years since I have got to watch them do one stupid thing after another and basically destroy a once strong company. It now embarrasses me to say what I was once a part of. It was our life's work and as I told a person in the organization you have actually destroyed my resume..... Ben's video is hammer meets nail accurate. And corporate douche is very accurate way to describe the goofball pencil pushers who are involved in these deals.
