Someone last year spent tons of time running drone crafts around the lake and I heard they were contour mapping crafts. I was just wondering if anyone knew if any new lake maps were in the works? My lake master maps are good but show creeks that aren’t there anymore and there are differences between the two maps cards I have. Be nice to have up to date contour maps.

Ken Smith had a YT video series with a drone over Sam but it wasn't for any maps purpose that I'm aware of.

Someone had unmanned kayaks running all over Rayburn. I guess drones really might not be the proper name. I called the TPWD. They told me that the lake was being surveyed and contoured. They didn’t know who was actually doing it. I was just wondering with the vast knowledge and folks on here.. someone might know if it was for lake maps.

They were mapping Texoma last week with those drone boats. I would guess one of the big three graph companies.

Well coast Master got awards a couple years ago. Maybe Humminbird is rescanning their lakes to that level of detail?
