Cowboys looked good today, if they could play that good every week.

Yep, and he's not even really paid *that* much comparatively. He just kinda sucks for anyone making above league minimum.

Dak looked good today, he threw several good passes................Gallop caught that toe toucher sideline pass that was stellar ( probably a better signing of pollard minus Zeke, that was a mistake) the second string runner is actually better than pollard each and every down, but pollard has the game breaking capabilities......................... ..................Next week, I predict dak to suck like he has been for the last 7 years in big games........... only time will tell.

Watching the Bears abd Chargers game will make you feel better about being a Cowboys fan.

Despite the parity we read about and that is on display especially when looking at scores there is some very lackluster, sloppy, and dullish play through much of the league. I only watched about 10 minutes of the Charger/Bears game and some of that just to see Roschon Johnson who used to QB at my old HS. Can really stand to listen to Chris Collinsworth in very short doses too. But despite the uninspiring game tonight it is just an example that there's too many NFL games lately that are pretty meh.

Kinda wish the Cowboys would work a low impact trade for Dalvin Cook.

Just my opinion, but I think their running problem is really an o-line problem. For whatever reason, this combination of guys in there are better at pass blocking and just not very good at run blocking. Or maybe we're missing a TE that run blocks well? Not sure, but I hardly ever see much of a hole for the RB like we're used to having at least some of the time.

Pollard seems slower to me. He had a lot more zip last year.

It’s normal. Unless you are a freak of nature Emmitt Smith/Adrian Peterson, running backs have a 3-4 year peak and then drop off significantly. This trend will only amplify now that there are 17 regular season games. Those guys experience the equivalent of 20 or so bad motor vehicle collisions every game.

It's too bad the Cowboys can't play trash teams every week. They seem to do well against them lol

It’s the mark of a slightly above average team.

When the Cowboys were consistently bad (1997-2003), they would play down to the level of their competition.

1) No battering ram to soften em up
2) O line been a bit banged up
3) McCarthy tends to run when you, me, and 10 million others know he's going to..... I'll give him credit yesterday, he called a good game.....

Weird season all around.....
