I've got a '85 Evinrude XP150. It has sat for a couple years but ran great (of course) when I parked it. I recently had the carbs rebuilt supposedly. It runs no different than when I took it for this to be done. The dang thing runs like a champ on the hose but drop it in the water and it won't. I finally got it off the trailer last weekend and it would push my boat at about 8 mph. So back on the trailer and back in the back yard. Is there anyone around that can and will still work on this thing?

The bulb is new, I am going to replace all the fuel lines next. Perhaps I can find a pressure gauge to check the pump. I just think it may be something bigger. I do feel like it is a fuel problem of some sort.

Edit to add that the plugs are new as well.
