I put a similar post on the Catfishing forum.
We are staying at a rental in the ICE Point area this weekend. I've only ever fished from the State Park down to the damn. I've got family and kids that are new to fishing. Any suggestions in that part of the lake for some sandies or such? I'm just trying to get these folks a good time and some fish action.
Thanks!

Wolf Creek Humps, Finger point, Cloud Point, Sun Point on the west and south edges, and Greenville Pump Station Hump are all good white bass structures. Look for fish in 8 to 15 ft of water. Small spinners like a #2 Mepps Aglia are working best due to small shad in the lake. Swim the baits along the bottom. Good luck!

Navionics.com pull down chart plotter , use cursor to lake Tawakoni, enlarge and scan !

Already there. I'm looking at some locations north of the 2 mile bridge. I'll report back if I find any hotspots.

Thank you everyone for the ideas and help. We never got to chase the sandies. We stayed with chasing the cats and did pretty good for just finding spots that looked good on the electronics. We had a couple of young kids with us that had never fished before. They ended up catching 10 catfish and had a ball!
