Who still has green grass? These last couple of weeks has been hell on a lot of yards. Show me what you got!

heck with the grass, i'm concerned about my house foundation. i started watering around the foundation this week

My st Augustine grass still holding on, couple small areas that get a lot of the sun are starting to yellow a bit. It does appear that it has slowed down growing a titch

My grass still looks okay better than most in my area but having to pour the water to it to keep it that way. Also I have a drip line buried that is part of the system so foundation getting some water as well. Hoping we get some rain soon but not overly optimistic.

Running the well daily to keep things alive

Same here. Water bill was $310 last month, I bet mine tops $400 this month. Still $400 is better than another $20K to fix the foundation, AGAIN.

I’m going back to bermuda grass.
SA is to sickly and requires way to much water.
I’m letting the SA die out and throwing out bermuda seed to replace it.

I just started my transition this week.

In about 15 years then, you may have a bermuda yard. Hope you have no trees, cause shade kills.

The bright side is that it will go semi dormant and I will only have to mow once every three weeks until October.

It’s been raining for days at my house.

Backyard is a mess.

Front doing great, back not so much after complete over sod a few months ago.

Running sprinklers from the well every day. 16 zones spit up and they alternate days.

Grass is dumb.

When I retire, rocks, ground covers, trees. and shrubs.

I am running the sprinklers 3 times per week, yard looking great.

We had rain and heavy every week until just recently.
