 Roller Skating championships

My son pulled off 2 golds for skating this week. He won first place in elementary pairs and solo.
Bittersweet year as my daughter chose to retire this year instead of trying out for the US team.
My son worked hard for this, he blew out his knee skating and only played 2 game of football. He missed a bunch of baseball practices for skating and was benched for it. His hard work paid off and I am proud as I can be of him.

That's pretty cool!!! Tell us more about what kind of skating they do - speed skating, like skate park with tricks and such or are they into Roller Derby? Inquiring minds want to know.
